As the Scuderi Engine continues to draw interest and attention around the world, we continue to hear a few of the same questions again and again. One of the most frequently asked questions we hear is this one: If the Scuderi Engine uses two cylinders to do the same thing that a four-stroke engine does with one, why doesn't it take twice the number of cylinders to power the Scuderi Engine? In this podcast, Sal Scuderi explains why.
I'm trying to understand why one compression cylinder, is not use for 3 combustion cylinders, for more torque. Why aren't you maxing your torque at 3600 rpms? Why not a outside source for compression, like a electric pump?
